Testing
Typically once a year, students get the opportunity to test for higher rank.

Demonstrations
Every year we make public appearances at local festivals, including the San Jose Nikkei Festival and Cupertino's Cherry Blossom festival, demonstrating our kata and ability to cut with the katana.

Tournaments
We are a part of the U.S. Federation of Battodo, an umbrella organization that allows various sword practitioners to compete in sparring, cutting or kata.
